According to a report in cricfacts, the highest paid cheerleaders are KKR, who approximately shell out 24,000 per match. CSK, SRH, PBKS, & DC pay their cheerleaders 12,000 per game. MI and RCB approximately pay 20,000 per match. In addition to earning fixed pay, the cheerleaders also own bonuses based on their performance as well as their teams, who they are cheering for.
The cheerleaders also enjoy other benefits like luxury accommodation & food. Getting a cheerleader job is not that easy as their selection is based on several interviews and evaluation. A IPL cheerleader needs to have some amount of experience in dancing, modeling, and performing in front of a packed crowd.
Speaking about the performance on the field, Gujarat Titans are leading the points table owing to their two wins from two games. PBKS are placed second followed by KKR, owing to their thumping 81-wicket over RCB, The Capitals, and SRH are still to get their first win in IPL 2023 season.
