1. Chris Gayle 175 * off 66 balls RCB v Pune Warriors, IPL 2013
Chris Gayle was always a prize wicket for any team due to his big hitting abilities. The West Indian will be remembered for one of the finest and explosive knock in history of IPL against now defunct Pune Warriors. Gayle smashed opposition bowlers all over the M Chinnaswamy Stadium ground to score the fastest hundred off just 30 balls in T20 cricket.
He eventually finished the innings at 175 off 66 balls. In that innings Gayle smashed the most sixes in a T20 innings (17) and helped RCB register the highest score by a team (263) and so on.
2) Yusuf Pathan 100 off 37 balls, Rajasthan Royals vs Mumbai Indians , IPL 2010
It was just the second match of the IPL 2010 edition and Yusuf Pathan set the tone for the rest of the tournament with a century against Mumbai Indians at Brabourne Stadium. Chasing 213 runs for victory, Pathan nearly pulled off a victory for the 2008 champions with a stunning onslaught.
He reached the three-figure mark of just 37 balls the fastest ton for 5 seasons until it was broken by Chris Gayle. That century nearly helped Royals beat MI however his dismissal saw the team failing to chase down the target.
3) David Miller 101* off 38 balls, Kings XI Punjab vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, IPL 2013
David Miller’s crazy hitting left RCB stunned and helped Kings XI Punjab pull off a sensational victory. Miller hit the ton in 38 balls to etch his name in IPL record books. Miller came into bat with Kings XI Punjab reeling at 64-4 while chasing 191 for the win. Miller smashed 7 sixes and 8 boundaries to help his team snatch win from the jaws of defeat.
4) Adam Gilchrist 109* off 42 balls, Deccan Chargers vs Mumbai Indians, IPL 2008
Adam was undoubtly one of the most devastating wicketkeeper batsmen in the history of cricket. He was known for ripping apart the opposition bowling attack right from ball and it was exactly what Mumbai Indians witnessed during a league stage match of IPL 2008. The start studded MI team could only put 154 run on scoreboard while batting first in front of fans at DY Patil stadium.
However, no one ever expected Gilchrist to switch into the beast mode very early in the match. The left-handed batsman blew away MI bowlers to reach the three-figure mark in just 42 balls. During his electrifying innings, Gilchrist smashed nine fours and ten sixes helping Deccan Chargers win the match by 10 wickets and eight overs left to play.

5) AB de Villiers and David Warner
The record for the fifth fastest century in the IPL history jointly belongs to South Africa’s AB de Villiers and Australia’s David Warner. Both players reached the three figure mark off just 43 balls AB de Villiers achieved the record in 2016 against the Gujarat Lions at M Chinnaswamy stadium finishing the match with a score of 129 off 52 balls. RCB defeated Gujarat with ease in the match.
Warner on the other hand hit 126 off 59 balls for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Kolkata Knight Riders.
6) Sanath Jayasuriya and Mayank Agarwal
The sixth fastest century in the IPL history was scored by former Sri Lanka opener Sanath Jayasuriya and Mayank Agarwal. Jayasuriya smashed unbeaten 114 off 48 balls to help Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings by 9 wickets. Mayank Agarwal on the other hand smashed 106 off just 50 balls for Punjab Kings against Rajasthan Royals during the 202o edition in UAE.
7) Chris Gayle and Murali Vijay
The seventh joint fastest century record of 46 balls belongs to former RCB opener Chris Gayle and former CSK opener Murali Vijay . The Universe boss smashed 107 off just 49 balls against Rajasthan Royals during IPL 2011. RCB went onto win the match by 85 runs.
On the other hand, Murali Vijay’s 127 runs of 65 balls helped Chennai Super Kings post over 240 runs on board against Rajasthan Royals in 2010. The high scoring encounter saw CSK win the match by 23 runs.
8) Andrew Symonds, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers
Australia’s Andrew Symonds and South Africa’s Ab de Villiers hold the joint record for the 8th fastest century in the IPL history of 47 balls. Symonds ended up scoring 117* off 53 balls for Deccan Chargers came against Rajasthan Royals during the 2008 edition.
Over 230 runs were scored in that contest and it was Royals who won the match by 3 wickets. AB de Villiers during the 2015 IPL match against Mumbai Indian lit up Wankhede stadium with his batting fireworks.
The original Mr 360 degree smashed an unbeaten 133 runs of 95 balls to help RCB post 235 runs on the board. RCB won the contest by 39 runs. Meanwhile Virat Kohli scored 113 runs of 50 balls in RCB win over Kings XI Punjab during the 2016 IPL encounter
9) Virender Sehwag and Quinton de Kock
Former Team India opener Virender Sehwag and South Africa’s Quinton de Kock smashed the 9th fastest ton in IPL history off just 48 balls. Sehwag achieved the feat for Delhi Daredevils against Deccan Chargers during the league stage match of IPL 2011. Sehwag finished his innings with 119 runs off 56 balls to help DD chase down the target with 4 wickets to spare.
Quinton de Kock meanwhile achieved the feat for Delhi Daredevils during the 2016 encounter against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Th left hander smashed 108 off 51 balls as DD chased down the target of 192 runs with 7 wickets to spare.
10) Wriddhiman Saha and Rajat Patidar
Wicketkeeper Batsman Wriddhiman Saha and middle order batsman Rajat Patidar hold the record for the 10th fastest IPL century having take 49 balls to reach the mark. Saha scored 115 off just 55 balls for Kings XI Punjab against Kolkata Knight Riders during 2014 IPL final. His efforts went in vain as KKR clinched the title with 3 wickets to spare while chasing 200 runs.
Rajat Patidar’s sparkling 112 runs against new comers Lucknow Super Giants saw Royal Challengers Bangalore cross the eliminator hurdle to end LSG’s journey. Batting first Patidar smashed 112 runs off 54 balls with RCB managing to defend the total of 207 and winning the match by 14 runs.
