After hitting a couple of boundaries and getting dropped on 9, Jagadeesan couldn’t capitalise and was dismissed by Mohammad Shami in the 3rd over.
Jagadeesan was on 19 off 15 balls and was under pressure to up the tempo but failed to connect a straight delivery, which resulted in his LBW.
Notably, the Tamil Nadu batter has played 5 matches so far for the Kolkata Knight Riders side and has scored just 70 runs at an average of a mere 14.
Netizens lost their patience after another failed performance by Jagadeesan and took to social media to express their frustrations at the player’s string of poor performances. Many questioned KKR management for giving the Tamil Nadu batter too many chances and others lambasted the youngster for not showing any sign to improve his form.

Narayan Jagadeesan previously played for MS Dhoni-led CSK but was released by the franchised ahead of the IPL 2022 mega-auction. The batter was then picked by Kolkata Knight Riders for 90 Lakhs.
The 27-year-old had a stunning domestic season last year, smashing five centuries in five consecutive list A innings. Jagadeesan had smashed 114*(112), 107(113), 168(140), 128(123) and 277(141) against Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022.
