The 2023 season of IPL is expected to be the last outing of the former Indian skipper in the league. CSK will be looking to give him the fifth title win. In his 234 IPL appearances so far, Dhoni has scored 4978 runs with an average of 39.2. He has also led Chennai to the title four times in 2010, 2011, 2018, and 2021.
In the last two IPL editions, the CSK skipper’s strike rate has been a lowish 130. In IPL 2022 season, he scored 232 runs in 16 matches. The wicketkeeper-batter has not been able to finish games. By beginning training well beforehand, the 41-year-old sure wants to make a grand statement. A lethal Dhoni is not a good sign for the opposition teams.
On the other hand, Ganguly recently sought permission from the Kolkata Municipal Corporation to demolish one of his bungalows in the city. Located at Lower Rodan Street, Ganguly bought this bungalow for Rs 40 crore. The handover of this property was in the headlines in the city. Ganguly is currently living in Behala Kolkata. It is believed that after the construction of the new bungalow, his address in Kolkata will change.
