IPL 2023 Auction: Mr IPL Suresh Raina backs Joshua Little, Jaydev Unadkat among others to BAG BIG Bucks on Friday in Kochi – CHECK Out
Suresh Raina, a former player for the Chennai Super Kings and India, is well-versed in the T20 League, which is why he has earned the moniker “Mr. IPL.” With a total of 5,528 runs from 205 games and a strike rate of 136.76, including 39 fifty-pluses and 1 century, Raina retired from the IPL.
Raina also shared his thoughts on Indian domestic players who will earn big bucks.
Unadkat finished with 19 wickets in 10 games at an economy rate of 3.33 while Jagadeesan piled up five consecutive centuries for Tamil Nadu, the last of which was a record-breaking 277 against Arunachal Pradesh.
Raina said, “Sam Curran has done really well for England as well as for Chennai Super Kings and there is Ben Stokes who has led the England well. So having a top all-rounder in your team can change the movement of the game. Then there is Jaydev Unadkat who just won the Vijay Hazare Trophy and has a lot of experience in the IPL.”
“Watch out for Joshua Little from Ireland. He has done really well in the World Cup just now, and I just played with him. N Jagadeesan has a very good cricketing brain, and he bats so deep, is a very smart, calculative batsman. He has done really well for Tamil Nadu, watch out for him.”
The IPL will feature two broadcasters for the first time. JioCinema will have IPL 2023 LIVE Streaming while Star Sports Network will broadcast the IPL Auction LIVE on TV. Consequently, the course of events might vary. On December 20–21, the team owners and a small number of helpers will arrive in Kochi.
