Ishant went unsold in IPL 2022 Auction
Last time out, Ishant Sharma was another big name who went unsold in the 2022 auctions. The right-arm medium-fast pacer has been out of action in the past few seasons of IPL. In the 2021 season, he was part of the Delhi Capitals franchise and got only 3 matches. He ended up conceding 97 runs at an economy of 8.08 and took just one wicket.
He didn’t get further matches and was subsequently released by the Delhi management. In 2022, he went unsold. Though his name is on the list of 405 players up for the auctions, the 34-year-old cricketer can go unsold.

DC to target Cameron Green in the auction? Delhi Capitals head coach Ricky Ponting recently hinted that the Capitals franchise have saved a large chunk of money to bid for Cameron Green. Green made a name for himself in the shortest format. He opened for Australia against India and smashed 61 off 30 balls in Mohali. He repeated that feat with 52 of 21 in Hyderabad to attract IPL franchises’ attention. With Rs 19.45 Cr in the purse, DC will go all in for Green.
