After playing the knock, Virat Kohli looked rejuvenated with new energy, brimming with newfound confidence.
“I can keep going. It was an important game. I was disappointed that I haven’t done much for my team and that is what bothers me, not the stats. Today was a game where I was able to create an impact for the team,” Virat Kohli said after the match.

Special preparation: Virat Kohli also revealed that he had special preparation to tame his bad luck and poor form. He batted at the nets for over 90 minutes without any break.
“There are expectations because of the performances that you have put in. You need to keep the perspective right. You can forget the process in order to live up to the expectations. I have worked really hard. I batted 90 minutes in the nets yesterday. I came in very free and relaxed. I won’t be standing here being ungrateful for all that I have achieved,” Virat Kohli said.
If Delhi Capitals lose to Mumbai Indians on Saturday, Virat Kohli will have another opportunity to better his IPL 2022 tally. But if DC win, Virat Kohli will end up with another poor season.
