While Varun Chakaravarthy was retained for Rs 8 crore, Shivam Mavi was rebought for Rs 7.25 crore at the mega auction. The duo met each other for the first time since reunion with the franchise. The two of them will now look to continue purple patch in IPL 2022.

Fresh pictures showed Akash Nayar and Bharat Arun discussing with Mavi & Chakaravarthy ahead of IPL 2022.
KKR have already announced their new captain as Shreyas Iyer after spending Rs 12.25 crore on the former DC skipper.
Varun Chakaravarthy has been phenomenal for the franchise. He has taken 36 wickets in 31 matches and was among the top wicket-taker during the last two seasons. He had returned with 18 wickets at a brilliant economy rate of 6.58 rpo during the last season.
Similarly, pacer Shivam Mavi has also emerged as a top pick for KKR during the last couple of seasons. He managed 11 wickets in 9 games at a fair economy rate of 7.24. Overall, he took 25 wickets in 26 matches.
The duo will play a crucial role as KKR aims to win third IPL trophy and end trophy drought since 2015.
