When it comes to MS Dhoni, he returned to the helm against Sunrisers Hyderabad as CSK avenged their previous loss by 13 runs. CSK seems to be infused with fresh energy as openers Ruturaj Gaikwad (99) and Devon Conway (85*) guided CSK to 202/2 in the allotted 20 overs.
On the other hand, SRH failed to chase down the total as wickets continued to fall for the Orange army. R Jadeja impressed with his bowling after leaving captaincy duties while Mukesh Choudhary once again shined with a 4-wicket haul.
CSK needs to continue their winning streak in the group stage if they want to stay in the fray for IPL 2022 playoffs. They will next play Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Delhi Capitals (DC), Mumbai Indians (MI), Gujarat Titans (GT) and Rajasthan Royals (RR).
