Australian players David, Meredith, MI head coach Mahela Jayawardena, bowling coach Shane Bond are already in Mumbai. Mills, who was snapped up by MI for 1.5 crores shared a special message to the franchise and fans.
“Mumbai Indians is a great franchise looking forward to meeting all my new teammates. I had also spent a little bit of time with Jasprit Bumrah during the T20 World Cup. Looking forward to playing with him. I have not played in Wankhede before. This is my first time back in IPL since 2017. My wife’s name is India. I have been waiting to come back for a long time and I am happy to get the opportunity.”
