Skipper Kane Williamson joined the team on Monday, but upcoming days are going to very extremely crucial as the franchise is sweating on the injury status of the Kiwi batter. Hyderabad will start their campaign against Rajasthan Royals on March 29 and the management would want their skipper to be available from the very first game.
That being said, Williamson himself had previously provided a positive update about his elbow problem by saying “It’s improving, it’s been a bit of a long slog. Hopefully, this time gives it gets what it needs, it will be nice to put it behind me. It does seem to be progressing quite well – in last small period my batting load has started to increase quite a bit more, it’s looking positive.”
