Boult was not needed to bat as RR top-order batters took SRH bowlers to cleaners in Pune. The Sanju Samson-led side posted a huge total of 210. They lost only six wickets. Boult’s ambition to hit a few balls out of the park was not at least fulfilled against SRH.
Prasidh though had fun seeing Boult ready to bat. “I think the best part of the day was I saw you padded up and I enjoyed that the most,” Prasidh said.
The Indian pacer also asked Boult about the competition for numbers 9, 10, and 11, to which Boult said he was not ready to give away secrets to fans and other teams.

IPL 2022: Prasidh Krishna ready to keep the momentum going
Prasidh and Boult picked up two wickets each which was enough to derail SRH’s plan to chase the steep run chase. Both the pacers were playing their first game for RR. They started on a promising note and hope to continue with the same momentum for the rest of the tournament.
