IPL 2022 – Will Ravi Shastri explore IPL Coaching Stint? Indian cricket team is set to get a new coach in form of Rahul Dravid post T20 World Cup. The Ex i.e Ravi Shastri is likely to explore coaching stint with the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises. According to a report by TOI, Shastri will ’slow-down’ in life after grueling past few years with the Indian team – but can be seen working with an IPL franchise in the near future.
IPL 2022 is just 5 months away & Shastri after taking a breather is likely to either explore a coaching stint with the IPL team or can go back to television as a commentator according to the report.
“He’ll be selective. He’ll be open to working with an IPL franchise. Year-round travel is something he would like to avoid now,” the report quotes someone close to Shastri.
It is worth noting that Shastri had a very successful and flourishing broadcast career before he took up the coaching role with the Indian cricket team. For almost 20 years, Shastri was one of the most noted, loved and well respected voice during the live cricket and getting associated with LIVE TELEVISION can’t be ruled out for the former Indian captain.
