In a video uploaded by Mumbai Indians, Malinga is seen in a deep conversation with long time teammates, Kieron Pollard and Jasprit Bumrah. Pollard and Malinga were also seen involved in some banter.

Besides that, two Sri Lankan legends and best friends who now are coaches of IPL teams, Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene were also seen chatting together, while the five-time champions celebrated the birthday of assistant physiotherapist, Ashutosh Nimse. The two captains, Rohit Sharma and Sanju Samson were also seen sharing a laugh.
The one takeaway from the video that will bring a smile to the face of every Mumbai Indians fan is that Suryakumar Yadav is back in the grass, after having recovered from his injury. “Feels good to be back on the ground with the family. Really looking forward to it, I am super excited,” the batter said.
Surya and his Mumbai Indians teammates will be desperate for a victory in this match, as they have started their IPL 2022 campaign with a four-wicket defeat against Delhi Capitals.
