Shivam Dube (95*), Robin Uthappa (88) and Maheesh Theekshana (4/33) besides Jadeja (3/39) starred as CSK beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 23 runs at the DY Patil Stadium on Tuesday.

IPL 2022 Points Table: Rajasthan Royals retain top spot despite loss to RCB, Faf Du Plessis & co remain 6th - Check full table

  • All the 10 teams have been divided into two virtual groups consisting of five teams each.
  • The teams were divided based on a seeding system determined by the number of championships won by each team.
  • Each team will twice with the four other teams present in their same group and also with one team from the other group.
  • Meanwhile a team will face 4 teams from the other group only once.
  • Every team will play a total of 14 league matches.
  • Despite being divided into two groups, all the teams will be ranked on the same points table.
  • The teams finishing on the top four spots will qualify for the playoffs.
