Players and coaching staff enjoy their off day – The players and coaching staff enjoyed their off day with futsal as the post on RCB’s social media page read, “It’s always an intense contest when our stars face off against each other in our annual Clash-a-thon.”
Four teams participated in the tournament – The RCB players were seen divided into four teams as they enjoyed their timeout from cricket. The teams were Warriors, Mavericks, Avengers and Hustlers as they all completed in a round robin contest on Day 1. Star names like Mohammed Siraj, Siddhart Kaul, Sherfane Rutherford were all seen showing their football and futsal skills.

Mohammed Siraj scores 4 goals in a match – Mohammed Siraj was seen enjoying the contest as he scored four goals in a single match for the Hustlers. Interestingly he was also the captain of the side when his side won 9-1 against Mavericks. Siraj who has had a mix IPL so far has scalped 8 wickets and will try to improve on as only handful of games are left.
RCB continue to battle for a place in the playoffs – On the cricketing side of things, RCB have continued battling for a place in the top four as they are still in control of their own destination. Currently RCB have 12 points from 11 matches as they continue their pursuit, while only concern will be the negative net run rate. As things stand they have played one more game than nearest rivals DC, SRH and PBKS who all have 10 points to their name from 10 matches. A slip up from all those teams is required, if RCB are to make the playoffs.
