Hardik Pandya on Thursday (December 23) shared a picture of himself working out in the gym. Pandya captioned it, “Just the start” as he can be seen in good shape.

Out of West Indies Tour:
Former Mumbai Indians’ allrounder Hardik Pandya is set to miss the white-ball home series against West Indies in February. He is not being considered in the squad and BCCI has asked Pandya to work out at NCA & attain full fitness to get back to the domestic and national circuit.
The back injury has impacted Pandya’s overall performance, especially with his bowling.
As per sources, the 28-year-old should start training in NCA sometime in January. There he will work on his bowling fitness under the watchful eyes of experts and will accordingly make his return to competitive cricket.
IPL 2022 Mega Auctions:
With the IPL 2022 mega auctions set to be held on February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru, Hardik Pandya will be eying to attain full fitness to fetch hefty cheques in the bidding. Pandya was released by Mumbai Indians with questionable fitness and a huge paycheck probably the reasons behind it.
Pandya made his IPL debut with Mumbai Indians in 2015 has been an integral part of MI’s four of the five trophy wins in 2015, 2017, 2019 & 2020 editions.
But, the five times IPL champions Mumbai Indians retained Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Kieron Pollard, and Surykumar Yadav and opted to release Hardik Pandya.
