- Rajasthan Royals will next play a tight bowling lineup in form of Punjab Kings in a day game on Saturday, May 7.
- The likes of PBKS bowlers Arshdeep Singh, Kagiso Rabada and Rahul Chahar will pose a big threat to in-form Jos Buttler.
- Buttler has so far slammed centuries against weak bowling lineups DC, KKR and MI. He will face stiff challenge to take on PBKS bowlers.
- He has so far scored 588 runs and needs to go past 973 runs if he wants to eclipse Kohli’s tally of most runs in an IPL season.
- On the century front, he needs a couple of tons for a very big record as Kohli had slammed 4 tons in 2016, i.e., when he slammed 973 runs.

Jos Buttler had earlier said that he is enjoying the best form of his life.
“I am enjoying the best form of my life, I need to continue with this form all the way through,” he told host broadcaster Star Sports.
Meanwhile, former England cricketer Nick Knight is impressed with the way Rajasthan Royals’ star opener Jos Buttler is scoring runs game after game in the ongoing IPL 2022.
Speaking on ‘Cricket Live’ on Star Sports, Knight said: “What impressed me hugely about Jos Buttler is the way he’s started every innings. I mean if we look at the outcome of his innings, mostly it’s either the 50s or 100s, he’s (looking) in a different gear. (But) He tends to forget what he did in the previous game and starts afresh. (He) Hasn’t taken his form for granted at all. He’s giving himself a few balls to get in and then play those big shots.”
