Rashid Khan plays cameo – Rashid Khan who is known for his bowling exploits was handy with the bat as he scored 40 off just 21 deliveries. The short cameo innings included two fours and three sixes as scored at a strike rate of 190, playing an important role at the other end, while David Miller was in a superb vein of form for the Gujarat Titans (GT)

- 1st Ball: SIX! Jordan tried to bowl a yorker but missed the length and Rashid whipped it for a 6 over the mid-wicket.
- 2nd Ball: SIX! This time, he tried bowl the wide yorker and missed it and Rashid sliced it for a 6 over the point.
- 3rd Ball: FOUR! Another failed yorker and it becomes a fulltoss as Rashid hammered it over cover for a 4.
- 4th Ball: SIX! Fuller length delivery and Rashid went for a helicopter shot for a 6. First four balls ended up with 22 runs.

Miller puts icing on Rashid’s cake – The pair were ruthless and relentless in the middle overs, before Rashid was dismissed on the final ball of 19th over. With still 13 needed of the final over David Miller completed the job as he guided GT home for their fifth win of the season. The Rashid and Miller innings have seen GT go top of the table with 10 points.
