KL Rahul to lead Lucknow franchise? The Lucknow IPL team was purchased by RP Sanjiv Goenka Group (RPSG) for record breaking price of 7090 Crores outbidding others in October.
The source further informed InsideSport that promoters & senior management of the team have already met Rahul multiple times and the flamboyant Indian opener has agreed to lead the franchise.
As per the norms released by BCCI for the new franchsies, the new IPL teams will be allowed to sign 3 players before the IPL 2022 MEGA-AUCTION.
The new teams can sign & unveil these players only after the existing franchises have announced the list of their retained players. The deadline for the finalization of the retained players by the old franchise is 30th November.
