IPL 2022: “I will end up where I am destined to be” – T20 cricket legend Dwayne Bravo has expressed his doubts heading into the IPL 2022 auction, suggesting that he remains unsure whether he will be picked up again by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Bravo has been part of the franchise for almost a decade but was released back into the auction pool with the defending champions opting to retain MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Moeen Ali and Ruturaj Gaikwad. While the West Indian retired from international cricket, he said that he will definitely be back for the IPL next year.

Considered amongst the greatest T20 players across the globe due to his all-around abilities, Bravo announced his retirement after the end of the T20 World Cup.Speaking to ANI, Dwayne Bravo has expressed his doubts about his future with CSK but vowed that he will be part of the IPL 2022 Auction next year.
He said, “I am not retained by the CSK, but I will be in the auction, I will be 100 per cent in the auction. I do not know which team I will end up with. I will end up where I am destined to be. I do not know whether I will be picked up by CSK or not, I can be picked up by any other team as I am in the auction.”
Bravo has previously featured for Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Lions in the past but had most of his success with the Chennai Super Kings, winning three IPL titles. Despite being on the fag end of his career, Bravo is expected to fetch huge money in the auction, and CSK are likely to be one of the teams in the running for him.

Bravo enjoys a great camaraderie with CSK captain MS Dhoni, and said that the former Indian captain had helped him a lot during his career.
“We all know that MS Dhoni and I call each other brothers from another mother. We have developed a strong friendship. He is a global ambassador of the game and he has helped my career personally. We both have a great legacy at CSK and we have helped in turning that franchise into one of the most dominant franchises and that will be there in the history books. We have a strong friendship and that is more important than anything else, ” said Bravo.
