The 28-year-old all-rounder has been going through a tough phase in his cricketing career. He has been out of action post the T20 World Cup and is doubtful for another two to three months. Back-to-back injuries have not helped his cause. With a dip in form, his six-year-long association with the IPL franchise also came to an end as the Rohit Sharma-led team did not retain Hardik.

With mega auction on the cards and two new teams coming in, the Baroda-born cricketer will hope to get a good amount of money. The Ahmedabad and Lucknow-based franchises may go after the swashbuckling all-rounder looking at his hard-hitting abilities.
