IPL 2022: Hardik Pandya all set to lead GT
Hardik Pandya, who is the skipper of GT will be looking to prove his point as an all-rounder and captain. He was out of the cricketing action for close to five months.
Now he returns not only as a player but as a captain. Interestingly the junior Pandya last led a team during the Under-19 for a club level. The IPL will be the first experience for him as captain at the bigger level.

Dinesh Karthik feels Pandya is a very interesting choice for leadership. He feels the all-rounder has all the flair and confidence.
“For me, I am very keen to see how Gujarat Titans go because personally, I feel Hardik Pandya is a very interesting choice as captain. He has all the flamboyance… whether he can transfer that into his teammates (remains to be seen). He’s somebody who’s very confident about his abilities and in many ways, walks the talk. It will be very interesting to see his kind of leadership, the way he takes that team forward,” Karthik told Cricbuzz.
