IPL 2022: Big boost for SRH, CSK MI, and KKR – The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League is going to start on March 26. Ahead of the T20 tournament few big teams like Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Mumbai Indians (MI), and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have got a massive advantage. The four players were phenomenal during the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka. Shreyas Iyer was the player of the series as he scored 204 runs without getting dismissed even once. SRH lead fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked three wickets in two matches. He played a crucial role in India winning the first game. The right-arm pacer also managed to keep things tight and didn’t allow the Lankan batters to get through. There were some concerns during the South Africa tour about his form. Kumar’s stellar show against the Lankan Lions has put those doubts to rest.

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja made a great comeback into the team by delivering with bat and ball. The southpaw was promoted up the order at five and he made it count. He scored 70 runs in three games at a strike rate of 189.19. Jadeja’s strike rate was second best for the batters. He also picked up two wickets in three matches. CSK would be mighty pleased with his return during the Sri Lanka series.

India wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan bounced back grandly after a dismal performance against West Indies. The southpaw scored 105 runs in two games. In the first match, he scored 89 runs and was instrumental in India getting 199 runs. Kishan could not play the last match as was struck on his head. Nonetheless, the southpaw’s timely return to form is a massive boost for Mumbai Indians.

4: Shreyas Iyer

KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer was simply a revelation during the T20I series against Sri Lanka. Iyer scored a staggering 204 runs and scored fifties in each of the three games. He was not even dismissed once. The right-hand batter also batted at number three and simply sizzled. Iyer’s breakthrough T20I performance is surely a massive boost for KKR.
