Kuldeep Yadav who had a torrid time in the last few seasons of the IPL, has made a terrific comeback this year. Playing for Delhi Capitals, the chinaman bowler has picked up 10 wickets in five games this season and is second on the purple cap list. Having spent his last seven seasons with Kolkata Knight Riders, the 27-year old went out of favour from the franchise after the emergence of Varun Chakravarthy.
He did not feature in a single game for the franchise in 2021 and in 2020 played just 5 games. During that time, he also lost his place from the Indian team and is now fighting for a spot. However, with his brilliant performance, it looks like his bad times are over finally and if he continues this form, he will be an asset for the Indian team.

Hardik Pandya
Hardik Pandya, who last played for India in the T20 World Cup, sidelined himself from the Indian team after he faced fitness issues. The all-rounder had a recurring back issue and he featured only as a batter in the last IPL season. However, he has made a good work on his fitness and has returned with a bang this IPL.
Leading Gujarat Titans, he has returned back to bowling and has bowled full quota of four overs in the first four games he played. He is also in prime form with the bat, having scored two consecutive half-centuries this season, batting at number 4. If he continues his good all-round show he will definitely be back in the Indian team.

Prithvi Shaw
Prithvi Shaw, who is struggling to cement a spot in the Indian team at the moment has shown his fine form this season. The 22-year old has scored 160 runs in four matches at an impressive strike rate of 170.61 with two back-to-back fifties in his last two matches. While he has done well with the bat, the only cause for concern is his fitness. He failed in the yo-yo test that was conducted just before the IPL season. If he continues his form in the IPL this year and if he also works on his fitness, then he can make a comeback to the Indian team.
