- Rajat Patidar – First uncapped player to score a century in IPL playoffs. He did so in the eliminator match against Lucknow Super Giants.
- Mohammed Siraj – Most sixes conceded in a single IPL season. He conceded 31 sixes, while previously, this record was held by Dwayne Bravo with 29 sixes.
- Shivam Dube & Robin Uthappa – Highest ever third-wicket partnership in the history of IPL. The duo set up a 165-run stand in the match between CSK and RCB.
- David Warner – Most half-centuries in the history of T20 cricket. He currently has 90 T20 half-centuries to his name, thanks to his five IPL 2022 fifties.
- David Warner – First player to score 50+ half-centuries in IPL. With those five half-centuries, Warner now has scored 54 fifties in IPL.
- Jos Buttler – Most runs in playoffs in a single IPL edition. The Englishman scored 273 runs in the playoffs this season.
- Jos Buttler – Most runs in a single IPL season by an overseas player. He amassed a total of 863 runs.

- Royal Challengers Bangalore – Most sixes conceded in a single season. The Bold Army conceded 147 sixes this year, breaking KKR’s IPL 2018 record of 135.
- Lockie Ferguson – Lockie Ferguson’s 157.3 KPH delivery in the IPL 2022 Final was the fastest of IPL 2022. With that, he surpassed Umran Malik’s fastest delivery against Chennai Super Kings.
- Fastest ball ever by an Indian in IPL. The SRH pacer bowled a 157 kmph ripper against Delhi Capitals.
- Shikhar Dhawan – First player to hit 700+ fours in IPL. He currently has 701 fours to his name in this competition.
- Pat Cummins – Fastest fifty by a foreigner in IPL, which came in just 14 deliveries. It was also the joint-highest fifty in IPL’s history.
- Dwayne Bravo – Most IPL wickets. He has 183 IPL wickets to his name.
- Mandeep Singh & Rohit Sharma – most ducks in an IPL season. They both are now tied at the top with 14 ducks.
- Riyan Parag – most catches in an IPL season now belong to Riyan Parag. The RR youngster has taken 17 catches this season, the most by any player in a season in IPL history.
- Quinton de Kock & KL Rahul – Highest first-wicket partnership. They attained this feat by scoring 210 runs for the first wicket against KKR.
