Dinesh at his fluent best – Dinesh has been having an impressive run in the IPL so far as a pitch-hitter and came into bat in with just 10 balls remaining. The scoreline was just 159/3 when he took guards against Kartik Tyagi. However he just set the tone at the Wankhede Stadium scoring a remarkable 30 runs in eight deliveries. Faf du Plessis who was batting at the other end was allowed to face only two balls as Dinesh made sure RCB put on a high score.

Not for the first Time – The Indian team selectors should be taking note of what Dinesh Karthik has being doing for the RCB team this season. The cameo wasn’t the first time he has produced an innings of this caliber in the IPL.
