David Warner, SRH’s only title-winning captain till date, had a tough time with the franchise during the IPL 2021. The southpaw was  sacked from captaincy first and then dropped from the playing eleven of the side on two occasions. Reports earlier had also suggested that Warner was denied entry in the team bus to the stadium ahead of SRH’s match against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

It was very much anticipated that two parties will part ways ahead of the IPL 2022 and that just happened on November 30 when the 2016 champions retained Kane Williamson, Umran Malik and Abdul Samad.

With that done and dusted, the fans now are curious to know which franchise will the opener represent next. There are chances that the 35-year-old can be seen leading one of the two new franchises in Lucknow and Ahmedabad.

However, a fan on Instagram requested David Warner to join the RCB – who have retained Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell and Mohammed Siraj. Warner has responded on the fan comment with emojis which suggest that he could be seen playing along with Kohli and his compatriot Maxwell.

The comments from the swashbuckling batsman, who has scored over 5,000 runs in the IPL, has also made it clear that he is excited about the upcoming mega auction.

For now, Warner is gearing up for the first Ashes 2021-22 Test against England which starts from December 8 in Brisbane.
