MI vs CSK LIVE: As per reports from ESPNcricinfo, The Proteas opener will be joining back Chennai Super kings on the 24th of April.

It is believed that Conway is likely to miss as many as two games for the team in yellow. The batter will have to undergo a 3-day insolation process, following which he can rejoin his squad.

Chennai will take on Mumbai Indians in the much anticipated El Classico on 21st April and Punjab Kings on 25th April. Conway is likely to miss these two important games. But the opener is likely to be available for selection on1st May when his side takes on Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The CSK family arranged for a pre-wedding party for Conway before the player left for his home country. Conway played for his side against KKR where he scored a mere 3-run inning.

Chennai Super Kings have been in some terrible form this season and have just a solitary win under their belt after playing 6 games. CSK will be eyeing for 2 points as they take on Mumbai Indians who had a far worse start this season after failing to win a single game this season.

Why it is a BATTLE of SURVIVAL?

  • 5 Times Champion Mumbai Indians is yet to taste a victory in 6 attempts this IPL Season
  • One more defeat will be curtains to their PLAY-OFF Hopes
  • Defending champions CSK finally tasted victory in their fifth attempt, beating the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 23 runs.
  • CSK’s campaign is also derailing with every defeat. Loss at the hands of bottom placed MI will dent all their slim hopes to still QUALIFY for playoffs.
