Rohit Sharma (Mumbai Indians) – Arguably the biggest name that is yet to fire in the tournament, Rohit has had a season to forget having scored just 114 runs in six matches. Rishabh Pant (Delhi Capitals) – 144 runs in the IPL so far, is a good return but considering the natural attacking play Rishabh offers its relatively low. In the five matches so far Rishabh has a high score of 43 runs against Gujarat Titans (GT) and will need to improve if Delhi Capitals are to conquer the IPL crown. Ravi Shastri also urged him to play his natural game which he is currently not playing.

Ravindra Jadeja (Chennai Super Kings) – Shown faith on the eve of the tournament, Ravindra Jadeja was handed the captains rein ahead of the IPL 2022 season. The versatile all-rounder has so far failed to impress as his team has lost five off the six matches while on personal form Jadeja has 88 runs and five wickets. Jadeja’s form with both bat and ball is dismal for the campaign and will have to improve.
Mayank Agarwal (Punjab Kings) – Mayank Agarwal was shown faith by the Punjab Kings management ahead of the season but he has been a shadow of his own. So far in the tournament he has 94 runs from five matches, averaging 18.80 runs per match. Agarwal did score a fifty against Mumbai Indians (MI), but that hasn’t turned his season around while he needs a revival with the bat.
