Speaking about Marsh’s injury, Australian white-ball skipper Aaron Finch stated “I don’t think he will be available for this (ODI and T20I) series based on how he was feeling yesterday.” Marsh will undergo scans before Cricket Australia (CA) comments on the exact extent of his injury. Meanwhile, having won the Test series by a 1-0 margin, Australia are scheduled to play three ODIs and one T20I against Babar Azam’s team, starting from March 29.
On the other hand, Delhi Capitals started their IPL 2022 campaign with a victory despite missing five of their overseas players, including Marsh. They handed Mumbai Indians a 4-wicket defeat on Sunday at the Brabourne Stadium.
