The BCCI has announced two new teams which makes the event even more interesting. The Indian Premier League has been often called a cash-rich league and there are obvious reasons for the same. The Indian T20 League is seen as a platform for youngsters, but at the same time, it makes big names earn a lot of money as well.
Players like MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma are some of the examples who make the list of players in the 100-Crore Salary club. However, there are new additions in the list and these two names are none other than the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), South Africa batsman AB De Villiers and Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) Suresh Raina. The two-star batsmen are paid Rs 11 crore for IPL 2021 by their respective franchises.
Earlier in IPL 2020, Chennai Super Kings’ captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Mumbai Indians’ captain Rohit Sharma and India and then Royal Challengers Bangalore’s captain Virat Kohli were the only players in the 100 crore Salary club. Follow InsideSport.IN for more updates
