Hetmyer is not new to sporting bold and funky hairstyles. The southpaw took everyone by surprise when he got his hair colored blue as a tribute of sorts to his old team DC in 2021. He always looks to experiment with different hairstyles each year.

Earlier, the southpaw shared a special message to the franchise and fans. The RR Twitter page uploaded a 20 seconds video of the southpaw, wherein he can be seen the management about his excitement to join the RR family for the upcoming season of the 15th edition of the IPL.

Nitish Rana New Hairstyle: Before Hetmyer, Nitish Rana also has changed his hairstyle ahead of the 15th season. His team Kolkata Knight Riders posted a photo of their middle-order batter.
His hairstyle has purple and gold-coloured streaks on it which are two colours that have been strongly associated with the franchise.
Rana wasn’t retained by KKR ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction. KKR however managed to bag his services for INR 8 Crore after a bidding war alongside Mumbai Indians and the Lucknow Super Giants.
