IPL 2022: Players who would bolster any squad based on their experience – With the IPL 2022 Mega Auction scheduled to take place in just a few weeks, the 10 franchise teams are busy planning and finalizing their buy list. A major factor in building a team is to bring experienced players who can bank on their experience to mentor the team and improve their individual performances. The list includes players that have played IPL over the years and ripped with age and experience with the likes of Suresh Raina, Dwayne Bravo, Faf du Plessis, James Neesham, Manish Pandey, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.  

The IPL 2022 Mega Auction will take place on 12th and 13th February while the tournament is tentatively scheduled to start on 2nd April. Names like Dyawne Bravo, Suresh Raina, and others will be bought by teams to boost their squad with experience and to improve the cohesion of the squad.

Dwayne Bravo: The West Indies all-rounder has been playing in the IPL since its inception in 2008. His consistent performance over the years, speaks volumes of his mettle and experience. He has scored 1537 runs and picked 167 wickets in 151 matches over the years. His last season has been quite good after he scalped 14 wickets in 11 innings. A player like Bravo is going to improve any squad of the 10 participating teams.

Faf du Plessis: The South African hitter needs no introduction to those that follow the game. Scoring 2935 runs in 100 matches with a high average of 34.94 du Plessis has registered himself to be one of the greats of the tournament. He has been participating in the competition since 2012 with his best stint coming last year in IPL 2021 after having scored 633 runs in 16 innings with an average of 45.21. It is likely that all of the 10 teams would be eager to take in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. 

Manish Pandey: Playing the tournament from 2008, Manish Pandey registered himself as a top batter. He has been performing consistently over the years and thus has accumulated 3560 runs in 154 matches with an average of 30.68. A player of his calibre will bolster the batting prowess of any team.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar: The lanky pacer has been a regular player in the IPL. Having played from 2011 Bhuvneshwar Kumar has picked up 142 wickets in 132 matches with a good average of 25.26. A player like him will bring confidence and improve the bowling strength of any team.

James Neesham: The 31-year-old Kiwi player has vast experience in the limited format of the game. He has played 38 T20Is for his nation and 12 IPL matches. With good batting and bowling averages, Neesham would be a hot pick in any team.

Suresh Raina: Suresh Raina is one of the most experienced players in the tournament. Having played in the IPL since its inception in 2008, Raina has played 205 games. He boasts of scoring 5528 runs with an average of 32.51. Bowling on occasions, he has also picked up 25 wickets over the years. A player of his capability will be a huge boost to any team.
