1. Matthew Wade

Matthew Wade was the star of the show on Thursday night, as he smashed the Pakistan bowlers to all parts of the ground to help Australia reach the T20 World Cup final. The wicket-keeper hit three sixes off Shaheen Afridi to seal the chase, scoring  17-ball 41 to seal the win for Australia. Matthew Wade had little chance to showcase his mettle during the tournament but did so in the T20 World Cup semi-final at the grandest of stages. The wicket-keeper has shown his versatility as an opener and a finisher and the mega auction and with the addition of two new teams, demand for his services will skyrocket especially after performances.

2. Devon Conway

New Zealand star Devon Conway will miss out on the T20 World Cup final due to injury but could bag a massive contract in IPL when the mega auction takes place. The left-hander has been in fine form since making his international debut with New Zealand, scoring at an average of more than 50 in T20Is. Conway scored a fine 46 in the semi-final against England, and the Kiwi superstar will be on the shortlist of many teams in the IPL 2022.

3. David Warner

David Warner had a disastrous IPL 2021, falling out with the Sunrisers Hyderabad management. The Australian southpaw is unlikely to be retained by the franchise ahead of the mega auction, and Warner has showcased his fine form during the T20 World Cup. The left-handed opener has been Australia’s leading run-scorer in the tournament. He scored a brilliant 49 against Pakistan while the rest of the top-order struggle and his leadership abilities make him an asset for any team splashing the big bucks on him.
