IPL 2021 – Sponsorship Revenues for BCCI: The Indian cricket board is ready to earn big bucks via IPL 2021 Sponsorships. The IPL central sponsorship revenues for BCCI saw an almost 50% drop in IPL 2020 but the same is set to double this year.
IPL 2021 – BCCI Sponsorship Revenues to double from IPL: The IPL Sponsorship revenues have grown to 708 Crores this year for BCCI. IPL 2020 in comparison generated only 400 Cr revenues on the same account – this means BCCI is all set to earn almost double from the sponsorship revenues.
Besides this BCCI this year has added Digital brokerage firm Upstox as a new official partner for IPL 2021. Instead of three IPL Official partners in the 13th edition of the league, IPL this time will have five official partners in the league – as Dream11 also have taken back their BCCI’s official sponsor status.

IPL 2021 – Franchises earnings also to increase: Almost 90-100% increase in central sponsorship means IPL franchises will also earn big this time as the central sponsorship revenues are shared with them as per the contractual terms between both the parties.
Also franchises own team sponsorship revenues are also growing by 25 to 30%. According to the estimates, the collective sponsorship revenues for 8 franchises should easily cross 550 Cr figure. The bigger franchises are making 75-80 cr from the tea sponsorships while smaller ones are earning 40-45 Cr.
IPL 2021: Not only BCCI, Star India also seeing huge uptick in Advertising Revenues
IPL 2021 – Disney Star Sports Advertising Targets: Like BCCI, the official broadcasters of IPL is also raking in big monies this year from the advertising revenues. According to the available information, the official broadcaster of IPL 2021, Disney Star Network is targeting 3200 Cr from the IPL advertising this year. InsideSport.co had reported earlier in the month of March that Star India had increased the rates for IPL on-air packages by almost 15-20% – but despite that Star managed to sell 100% inventory well in advance before the IPL started on 9th April.
