IPL 2021: South Africa’s Aiden Makram excited to join Punjab Kings ahead of IPL 2021 phase 2 – Check Video – South Africa’s star all-rounder Aiden Makram is all set to make his IPL debut for Punjab Kings in the IPL 2021 phase 2. Makram is already in UAE and will join the PBKS squad after serving two days quarantine period.

IPL 2021: Makram was signed by Punjab as a replacement for Dawid Malan, who opted out of the IPL 2021 phase 2 days ahead of the competition to spend some time with his family.
“Hi, guys. Aiden Makram here. I just wanted to mention how excited I am and grateful I am to be joining the Punjab Kings for the remainder of this year’s IPL, something I’m really looking forward to. And, like I mentioned, I am grateful for the opportunities. I am forward to meeting up with the guys in Dubai in a couple of days time,” Makram said in the video.
IPL 2021: Makram has played 15 T20Is for South Africa in which he scored 426 runs at a brilliant strike rate of 147 and an average of 35.50. He has scored four fifties for Proteas in the shortest format of the game.

Punjab Kings will look to use Makram’s all-around skills to good effect in the IPL 2021 phase 2 at UAE where spinners are likely to play a big role.
