- Punjab Kings face RCB and CSK in their last two matches and can’t afford to lose either. Any slip up will see them exit the tournament.

- But even after winning both matches, PBKS will have to depend on other results to go their way, especially of KKR and MI.
- KKR have two matches left and they face SRH and RR. If they win both, it will come down to the NRR and KKR have an advantage with a positive NRR of +0.302.
- PBKS will need KKR to lose at least one.
- The other factor is Mumbai Indians. Even though MI are behind on NRR, Rohit Sharma & Co have a match in hand. They face DC, RR and SRH and winning two of them will keep in the hunt, meaning PBKS’ chances will be slimmer if MI better the NRR.
