Earlier, Shubman Gill’s 43 and Andre Russell’s 45 helped Kolkata Knight Riders set a 155-run target for Delhi Capitals after Rishabh Pant won the toss and opted to bowl first against Eoin Morgan’s side.

IPL 2021 – Delhi Capitals Wins: KKR will play their seventh match of IPL 2021 against the Delhi Capitals at the Narendra Modi Stadium. DC will look to bounce back from a 1-run defeat while KKR will aim to continue winning momentum when they take on each other on Thursday evening.

IPL 2021 – Delhi Capitals Wins: Kolkata Knight Riders were off to a poor start with in-form batsman Nitish Rana departing in the 4th over. While Shubman Gill and Rahul Tripathi anchored the innings, the latter was removed by Marcus Stoinis. KKR lost two more quick wickets with Lalit Yadav dismissing Eoin Morgan and Sunil Narine in one over. Gill, who looked in good touch after successive failures also departed for 43. In the end, a late surge from Andre Russell helped KKR set a 155-run target for Delhi Capitals.
During the chase, Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan gave Delhi Capitals a flying start. Shaw smashed six fours in an over to Shivam Mavi in the first over. Shaw brought up the fastest half-century of IPL 2021 off just 18 balls. The two also brought up their 100-run stand taking Delhi Capitals closer to the target. In the end, Delhi Capitals cruised to a 7-wicket victory over KKR.
