IPL 2021 Phase 2 – MS Dhoni Weight Loss: The upcoming IPL 2021 Phase 2 could be the last time we see MS Dhoni in action and the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that he gives it his best shot. The former Indian captain has been in the wilderness since the 2019 World Cup semi-final, with the IPL being the only place where fans can witness his Midas touch. However, those skills have been on the wane as he enters into his 40s, and Dhoni is hoping to put his detractors down and regain his rigorous fitness regimes to top the list.
IPL 2021 Phase 1 to IPL Phase 2: MS Dhoni shows remarkable weightloss transformation, can fitter Dhoni overcome batting blues for CSK?
IPL 2021 Phase 2 – MS Dhoni Weight Loss: MS Dhoni was spotted on his way to Mumbai as the former Indian captain returns to the city for the wedding of Indian singer and music composer Rahul Vaidya. The CSK captain sported a plain black t-shirt along with greyish pants for his travel. The 40-year-old looked in top shape as he was clicked by the paparazzi, and had visibly shredded some kilos from his appearance in the IPL 2021 Phase 1.

While Chennai Super Kings had an eventful IPL 2021 Phase 1, Dhoni did not have the best times with the bat, scoring a paltry 37 runs at a strike rate of 123, with 18 being his best batting performance. Dhoni had also struggled to get going in the tournament last year, scoring a mere 200 runs at a lowly strike rate of 116.
IPL Phase 2 – MS Dhoni Weight Loss: The CSK skipper will hope to turn a corner on his poor form and lead his team to glory in IPL Phase 2, and returning to his best shape is certainly a sign that the former Indian captain is not leaving things to chance. A fitter Dhoni is certainly a dangerous proposition for opposition bowling attacks, and while a return to his IPL 2019 heroics seems unlikely, he could certainly have better showing than what he has in the past one and a half seasons. The former Indian captain’s career is a testament to the fact that he always bounces back from adversity, and a final hurrah could very much be on the cards for the Chennai Super Kings stalwart.
