“The pitch played similar to the last couple of wickets here in Sharjah. I just looked to bowl my length and let the wicket do the rest. I guess for me it was all about not trying to overpitch and get as much as possible out of the wicket. I only get the ball if things aren’t looking good. This isn’t the biggest field and we should take advantage if they bowl bad balls. It is going to be difficult if they are accurate and tight with their lines and lengths,” he said after his performance.
RCB is currently in the third spot in the points table while the perennial under-achievers of IPL, Punjab Kings is at No. 5 position in the IPL Points Table. They have 10 points from 12 matches & a playoff spot is once again in the sight.
What PBKS need to Qualify –
- Win both remaining matches
- Would need KKR, MI, RR to lose a minimum 1 games each if PBKS has to qualify

On the other hand, RCB can get away with this game as they need a lone victory to make it to the playoffs. Even if they lose to PBKS, they can still make necessary amendments in the final two fixtures– SRH and DC respectively.
