IPL 2021: Match Highlights KKR vs MI: KKR was marching towards victory as Nitish Rana hit his 2nd consecutive 50 of IPL 2021. After he was dismissed for 57, KKR lost their way and finally lost the match which was firmly in their pocket at one point of a time.

Eoin Morgan (KKR) – ‘Yes, disappointing (to lose). Played some really good cricket for most parts of the game, we looked comfortable in the chase, but they are a strong team, came back well and sad that it didn’t work out for us. Made a few mistakes, will need to sort it out”

Trent Boult (MI) – ‘Good feeling to close a game like that. Shows the importance of staying in the game. Four tidy overs in the backend and Bumrah played a big role. He was disappointed that he dropped the catch (off Russell) but he was the crucial part in getting us back into the game. These guys (spinners) are very experienced and they kept the dots building. It’s never easy to start on wickets like these and we knew it’s gonna be tricky and nice to get a couple of wickets in the end’

Andre Russell: I have been working very hard behind the scenes, taking the responsibility. There’s a possibility of going for runs (in the death over), but there’s always a chance to take wickets. I always keep stretching in the field and jogging around, you got to be ready in the 18th over. Bowling against Hardik and Pollard is always a difficult thing, happy we could restrict them. It’s always good to get Polly (Pollard) out early, we all know what he can do.
