IPL 2021 Final CSK vs KKR: Kolkata Knight Riders have booked their place in the final of the IPL first time after 2014 when they were crowned champions. Eoin Morgan’s side will be facing three-time champions MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super King in the final. KKR will be eyeing their third IPL title in this final and they are yet to lose a final. Both the teams have some top-notch T20 talents in their ranks. Sunil Narine is in top form both with the bat and with the ball while ventage MS Dhoni has returned to form at the decisive stage in the league. Narine up against Dhoni will be a crucial matchup to watch out for in the final. KKR’s star all-rounder Andre Russell is also fit to play the final according to David Hussey. Ravindra Jadeja will be the potent weapon against Russell on the night of the final.

MS Dhoni vs Sunil Narine

IPL 2021 Final – CSK skipper MS Dhoni showed a glimpse of form in the 1st qualifier against Delhi Capitals where he finished the game for his side. Dhoni’s form is very crucial for his side as CSK’s batting order is mostly dependent on their opening pair(MS Dhoni vs Sunil Narine). In the 15 matches of IPL 2021, Dhoni has scored just 114 runs but the wicket-keeper batsman is Man of Big Matches and CSK team mangement will be counting on him ahead of the big match. While on the other hand, KKR’s Sunil Narine is in tremendous form with the ball. He has picked 14 wickets in the league so far. Andre Russell vs Ravindra Jadeja

IPL 2021 Final – West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell is all set to join KKR after recovering from a grade 2 hamstring tear in the league stage match against CSK in the UAE leg. Russell’s inclusion will boost KKR’s batting as well as the bowling (Andre Russell vs Ravindra Jadeja). In 10 matches he has scored 183 runs so far but he has contributed with the ball by taking 11 wickets. To counter Russell’s allround threat CSK have Ravindra Jadeja. Venkatesh Iyer vs Josh Hazlewood

CSK vs KKR – Venkatesh Iyer has turned the season upside down for KKR with his extraordinary batting display at the top. Iyer has scored 320 runs in just 9 games which includes three fifties and he has also been handy with the ball as well. His explosive batting at the top has released the pressure from the middle order. CSK will look to take Iyer’s wicket as early as possible and thus Dhoni will look to bowl inform Josh Hazelwood in the powerplay overs. Josh has played 8 games so far in which he has picked 9 wickets. In the last few matches, he has picked wickets upfront. 

Ruturaj Gaikwad vs Lockie Ferguson 

IPL 2021 Final – Chennai Super Kings’ find of the season Ruturaj Gaikwad has made every cricket expert go crazy over his outstanding and consistent batting display. Ruturaj and his opening partner Faf du Plessis has been one of the prime factors behind CSK’s success in this season. Gaikwad has scored 603 runs in 15 matches with 4 fifties and 1 century in it. He is averaging 46.38 and has a strike rate of 137.35. However, KKR’s Lockie Ferguson can be a potent weapon against Ruturaj. Ferguson has picked 13 wickets in just 7 games for his side and will play a crucial role on the night of the final.

Faf du Plessis vs Varun Chakravarthy

CSK vs KKR – Chennai Super Kings’ opening batsman Faf du Plessis proved that age is just a number and class in permanent by smashing 547 runs in 15 games with the help of 5 fifties in IPL 2021. He is averaging 42.07 in this season with a strike rate of 137.09. While on the other hand, KKR have mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy in their squad who has taken 18 wickets in 16 games. Varun will be bowling in powerplays and will look to remove Faf as early as possible.
