IPL 2021 – David Warner Great Gesture: David Warner has won over social media yet again after he was seen in the stands, supporting his team, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their penultimate game of the season. The Australian has had a disastrous IPL 2021 which saw him sacked as team captain, and was subsequently dropped from the XI. It is the first time Warner was spotted in the stadium after being confined to his hotel room for the previous two matches.

The southpaw donned an SRH jersey while waved the team’s flag, as he watched the action unfold on the pitch. Warner has been synonymous with the Sunrrisers over the years and has grown a bond with the city and the team’s fanbase. The Australian’s appearance in the stands certainly had the fans in awe who have maintained that Warner was handed a raw deal by SRH despite his contributions to the franchise over all these years.

IPL 2021: David Warner meanwhile is naturally disappointed as he warms the bench, and has shared multiple cryptic messages over the past few days. Warner said in a post – “It’s not about who is real to your face, It`s about who stays real behind your back” leading fans to believe that the Australian was being made a scapegoat for the team’s failures. After six consecutive 500+ runs season, Warner struggled this term, managing just 195 in eight innings, at a lowly strike-rate of 107.73. He managed O and 3 in two Phase 2 games.
IPL 2021 – David Warner Surnrisers Hyderabad: Sunrisers had yet another disappointing day in the field as they managed just 115 on the board, with captain Kane Williamson top-scoring with 26. In response, Shubman Gill scored a classy half-century to seal the win and put the two-time champions closer to the playoffs. SRH meanwhile have been knocked out of contention.
