Delhi Capitals Akshar Patel all ready for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier Leagues.The DC took to their social media handle and shared a video of Akshar Patel.In the video,Akshar Patel talked about the IPL 2020 preparations, playing in empty stadiums and living in bio-bubble feeling.As Delhi Capitals will start their first match against Kings XI Punjab on Sep 20.
Akshar Patel said “It is a great feeling to be back playing on the ground.Getting an opportunity to play after lockdown is a good feeling and all the DC boys are in a postive frame of mind.I am playing with a positive mind and my preparations are going smoothly as a batsman and as a bowler.I have checked all boxes-batting,bowling and fielding.
Patel also discussed about the challenges while playing in empty stadiums. he said” it will be an empty feeling.Then as bowlers,we cannot use saliva on the ball and it will make a big difference. we’ll have to keep that in mind in the initial practice session,i was making sure that i am not using saliva or perspiration.So all those challenges will be there and its a big thing that cricket is happening after such a long time. so its a good thing not just for us but for India too.Everyone will enjoy the match in a different frame of mind.so it will be a unique experience.
