Chennai Super Kings’ all-rounder Dwayne Bravo who is celebrating his 37th birthday on Wednesday, gave a perfect gift to himself as he completed 150 wickets in Indian Premier League.
The Windies player, who missed the first three games of IPL 2020 owing to an injury, returned with figures of 3-37 in his four overs against Kolkata Knight Riders in the match no.21 of IPL 2020 on Wednesday to achieve the milestone.
He dismissed Rahul Tripathi, Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Shivam Mavi in the match.
Bravo has now become the second overseas bowler and fifth overall to have grabbed 150 wickets in the history of IPL.

In the process, DJ Bravo equalled Harbhajan Singh Record who also has 150 wickets in IPL. Mumbai Indians Lasith Malinga is leading the all the wicket-taker race with 170 wickets followed by Amit Mishra (160) and Piyush Chawla (156).
Since both Harbhajan and Malinga not being a part of IPL 2020 and Amit Mishra pulling out due to injury, Bravo has the chance to leapfrog them to take the top position.
Talking about the match, KKR rode on Rahul Tripathi’s 81 and Pat Cummins‘ quckfire 17 down the order to score 167/10 in 20 overs after they opted to bat first.
Kolkata are currently fourth in the points table with four points in as many games, while Chennai are at fifth position with four points in their kitty.
