Chennai Super Kings (CSK) spinner Harbhajan Singh unprecedentedly announced that he will not be participating at this year’s Indian Premier League citing “personal reasons”. Bhajji tweeted, “Dear Friends, I will not be playing IPL this year due to personal reasons. These are difficult times and I would expect some privacy as I spend time with my family. @ChennaiIPL. CSK management has been extremely supportive and I wish them a great IPL. Stay safe and Jai Hind”.
He became the second high-profile player after Suresh Raina to pull out of the camp. The decision has left the ‘Yellow Army’ perplexed.
Fans took Twitter by storm and asked questions on why he is pulling out. While one fans questioned why IPL is being held, another one wrote ‘Will miss the spin. Thank you sir’.Singh joined CSK in 2018 from Mumbai Indians. He has played 11 matches in the Yellow dress and has 16 wickets to his name.
