In the 41st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, Trent Boult’s 4/18 followed by an unbeaten 116-run opening stand between Ishan Kishan and Quinton de Kock helped the Mumbai Indians (MI) stroll to a 10-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Friday at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium

By thrashing Chennai Super Kings by 10 wickets Mumbai Indians to go on top of the IPL 2020 points table. MI didn’t face any difficulty as they crossed the finishing line in just 12.2 overs without losing a wicket.

During this pathetic batting, bowling performance CSK ended up creating 5 Horror Records.

CSK’s Horror Record 1 : 3 for 4 – The Super Kings’ score after 2.5 overs. Only once has a team been four-down for a lower score: Kochi Tuskers were four-down for two runs against the Deccan Chargers in 2011. The Super Kings’ previous lowest score at four-down was 13, also against the Mumbai Indians, at Wankhede Stadium in 2013.

CSK’s Horror Record 2 : Top 4 Batsman back in pavilion with score at 3 Runs – Lowest ever score by top 4 batsman in any IPL innings. The previous lowest was four runs by the Kochi Tuskers’ top four against the Chargers in 2011.

CSK’s Horror Record 3 : Most wickets lost in the first six overs of IPL by CSK. Five wickets lost by CSK in the first 6 overs (Power-play). The worst performance by any team was Kochi Tuskers who had lost 7 wickets in 5 overs.

CSK’s Horror Record 4 : 3 Instances of five of the Super Kings’ top-six batsmen getting out for single-digit scores in the IPL. Incidentally, all of them have come against the Mumbai Indians. The previous two instances were at the Wankhede in 2013 and in Chennai in 2019.

CSK’s Horror Record 5 : Chennai Super Kings slumped to their first-ever 10-wicket loss in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as Mumbai Indians chased down the paltry 115-run target without losing a wicket.
