International Dog Day: IPL franchises put special posts: IPL franchises- Delhi Capitals (DC), Mumbai Indians (MI), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) put out special posts to mark International Dog Day. The yearly celebration on August 26 aims to encourage people to adopt dogs instead of buying them from pet shops.
IPL franchises shared pictures of their IPL stars with their dogs on International Dog Day.
Delhi Capitals shared a picture of their designated skipper Shreyas Iyer with his dog and also shared images of head coach Ricky Ponting and opener Shikhar Dhawa with their pets.
