Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra has expressed the opinion that the recurring injuries and illnesses of India’s star batter KL Rahul have been the major impediments in the player’s career.
KL Rahul has been ruled out of the IND vs ENG 2nd Test, starting on February 2 in Vishakapatnam due to pain in his right quadriceps.
In a video shared on his YouTube channel, Chopra pointed out that injuries and illnesses have always come at a wrong time for Rahul in his career.
“KL Rahul’s life’s biggest challenge has been that injuries or illnesses always seem to occur at the wrong time. Just when everything appears to be going well, an injury happens. Everything is going smoothly, and then COVID strikes. There’s always something going wrong with him”, Chopra said in his video.
